WHAT IS COLD PLASMA?
Cold plasma is an ionized gas which, in addition to solid, liquid and gas, is also referred to as the fourth state of matter. It consists of various charged particles, some of which have a disinfecting effect. Only ambient air and electricity are needed to generate cold plasma. There is no waste material. Cold plasma is generated within our devices using a special and patented cold plasma source. In this pure form, the cold plasma can already be optimally used in room air and surface disinfection. Cold plasma supports the disruption of the redox processes of microorganisms. Specifically, a “short circuit” occurs in the cell membrane. In contrast to microorganisms, human cells are more developed and protected by proteins in the cell association. Cold plasma does not harm humans.
COLD PLASMA AEROSOL FOR THE DISINFECTION OF SKIN, HANDS & SURFACES
PLASMO®HAND uses our patented cold plasma aerosol. To produce this, a small amount of our process water is atomized into very fine aerosols and activated with the cold plasma. The plasma reaction products lead to an increase in the electrophysical potential of the aerosol. This supports the disturbance of the redox processes of microorganisms of the transient flora. Specifically, a “short circuit” occurs in the cell membrane. As a result, it dies. Human cells remain unaffected.
